Working with the agency remotely: one process for branding, video and SMM
Ugolek is based in Almaty, and we run projects online for companies from cities of Kazakhstan and Russian-speaking countries other than Russia. The process is the same for all three directions: brief, commercial proposal, contract, approvals and reports.
How the work is organized online

Online brief
You fill in the brief on the website: product, tasks, audience, budget guideline. We study the input and, if necessary, clarify details in a messenger or by phone.

Commercial proposal
We send a proposal with a list of work, deadlines and cost. We have no fixed packages or tariffs: we form the proposal only from the services needed for your task.

Contract and payment
We work under a contract. Standard payment options: 100% prepayment or phased payment 50/50 (50% before work begins and 50% at an agreed stage). For corporate clients deferred payment with a term of no more than 30 calendar days is possible. The terms are fixed in the contract before cooperation begins.

Team and a responsible manager
We form a team for the tasks of the project. One responsible manager is assigned to the project, and all communication with the agency goes through them.

Work and approvals online
At key stages we show results and agree on decisions online; 2 rounds of revisions are included in the project.

Reporting and handing over the result
For SMM we send a report in presentation format every month: reach and views, follower dynamics, engagement, results by content formats and the most popular posts. With active advertising reporting can be weekly. We hand over rights and files under the contract; we always hand over the source files of the logo.
What we do remotely and what requires a shoot
Entirely remotely
- SMM: strategy, content plan, creating and publishing content, targeted advertising, reporting.
- Branding: brief, research, brand platform, logo, corporate identity, brand book.
- Editing and post-production: you send the video materials, we process them and return the finished result.
Requires a shoot
- Photo and video shooting takes place in Almaty or at agreed sites.
- Shoots outside Almaty are possible, and transport costs are calculated separately.
- Preparation for the shoot, the script and approvals take place online.
How access is granted
For SMM we need access to Instagram, Facebook and the ad account through Meta Business (editor or administrator role). We do not ask for passwords. Accounts and ad accounts remain your property.

We are located in Almaty and work with companies from Astana, Shymkent, Karaganda, Aktobe, Atyrau, Pavlodar, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kostanay, Semey and other cities of Kazakhstan, as well as from Russian-speaking countries: Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. We fix the terms in a commercial proposal.

Yes. No. The brief, approvals and reports take place online. A visit or presence is required only for shoots: they take place in Almaty or at agreed sites, and shoots outside Almaty are possible with separate payment of transport costs.

+Who owns the rights to the result?
Rights are transferred under the contract: after the closing documents are signed (for video and corporate identity, after full payment). We always hand over the source files of the logo. Accounts and ad accounts always remain the property of the client.
+Do I need to give you the passwords to my accounts?
No. For SMM we need access through Meta Business with the editor or administrator role, and we do not ask for passwords.
